Wrestling high school action were in full force last night

FAIRBANKS, Alaska - There was a lot of high school wrestling action last night as multiple teams were battling on the mats.
First up was the Eielson Ravens and the Lathrop Malemutes, and the Mutes took the victory 56-18.
Lathrop won the 140, 152 and 160 with the help of the Opp brothers James and Josiah, and Jordan Sanchez.
Will McManus won the 171 for the Dirty Birds.
In the 189, Nephi Tidwell won it for Eielson.
In the 103, 119 and the 215, the Malemutes won the classes with Andrew Killian-Dalrymple, Colton Parduhn and Ramon Gloria.
Javier Pharms won the 112 for the Ravens.
Garrett Bourne won the 125 class for Lathrop, and William Poland took the 135.
West Valley faced the Hutchison Hawks, and won 35-7 over Hutch.
The Wolfpack secured the 103, 119, 125 and the 130 titles thanks to the efforts of Dustin Lozano, Kai Chen, Carter Barney and Freddy Matheson.
Ben Conn secured the 135 for West Valley, and Hutch got their first victory as Kenya Edwards won the 145.
The 171 had Aaron Conwell grab it for the Wolfpack, while Kalen Moore-Thomas won the 215 for Hutch.
Lathrop then faced Hutch, and Hutch fell 53-6, but they started with a victory in the 119 with Paitlyn Taylor.
Roberto Lechuga Porras grabbed one for Lathrop, and Zane Lucksavage secured the 125.
In the 130, Aiyana Erhart won it for Lathrop, and Kaleiha Ashbury took the 135 for Hutch.
The 171, 189 and 285 were won by Lathrop with Nathan Kisgen, Sage Martin and Ernest Hollcraft.
And lastly, the Malemutes faced the Wolfpack for a 55-24 victory.
