West Valley's Sprankle signs soccer NLI to Central Washington

FAIRBANKS, Alaska (KTVF) At West Valley high school, the Wolfpack saw one of their own sign their National Letter of Intent to play soccer at the next level. Finn Sprankle signed with the Central Washington Wildcats to play Division II soccer.

“I've been working for this for a really long time,” said Sprankle at her NLI signing. “Kind of knew that I wanted to play college soccer since I was like in middle school. It's something that I've been definitely working towards. My parents kind of like jumped on board with it and help me get there."

Sprankle has been part of numerous state tournament runs for the red and gold. She was named to the Mid-Alaska all-conference teams in in every year she has played for West Valley.

Sprankle now takes her experience to Washington to play in the Great Northwest Athletic Conference. Sprankle plans to study biology, and now gets to prepare for her senior season for the red and gold.
