West Valley and Hutch dominant their baseball rivals

FAIRBANKS, Alaska - Some Interior high school baseball was being played last night with two offenses going off.
We start off with the West Valley Wolfpack who took on their in town rivals, the Lathrop Malemutes.​
They secured a 12-1 victory over Lathrop through their bats and pitchers.​
Billy Renfrew had four runs, while Andrew Troppman had three RBIs, while on the mound Shaun Conwell had five strikeouts and only gave up one hit.​
Gus Jensen made his return to baseball by closing out the game for the red and gold after recovering from a torn ACL.​
Lathrop now looks to rebound tomorrow against the Monroe Catholic Rams, while the Wolfpack face the Hutchison Hawks.​
Speaking of the Hawks, they dominated the Eielson Ravens last night with a strong ending.​
Hutch scored 14 runs in the fifth and sixth on their way to a 16-6 victory over the Ravens.​
Josh Bronson led the Hawks from the plate and the mound, getting three hits, two RBIs and a run while fanning 14 batters.​
Eielson struggled with nine errors, but they did get production from their offense by getting four runs in the top of the sixth.​
The Hawks now face the Delta Junction Huskies tonight while the Ravens face the North Pole Patriots.
