FAIRBANKS, Alaska - The University of Alaska Fairbanks has called an audible, naming a fourth candidate for the athletic director position.
As they will be hosting Richmond International Raceway's Mike Waddell tomorrow for a public forum at the E-LIF building on campus.
Waddell was on UAF's radar early on, but fell off due to his pursuit for the Central Connecticut A-D position.
He didn't land that job, and is now back in the fold for UAF's.
Waddell has spent the last 2 years at Richmond, serving as the Vice President for Marketing and Communication.
His other stops include Towson, Arkansas, Illinois and many others.
His experience of 28 years took him through both collegiate and professional sports.
His forum will be at 5 PM, with UAF getting closer and closer to naming their athletic director.
