The College of Rural and Community Development along with Running Club North will be hosting the 6th annual 'Troth Yeddha Race for the Park' at UAF.
The Race will start at Troth Yeddha' Park, the Green Space between the Museum and the Reichardt building.
This 5K is designed to help raise awareness about the park, which is the future home of the Indegenous Studies Center, and to help celebrate Alaskan Native history, Culture, and Traditions.
Troth Yeddha' was used for generations to share knowledge and to harvest. This race helps make strides for the Indigenous Studies center and helps carry on the tradition of the hill.
Registration for the race is $25 and all proceeds will be donated to the UA Foundations Troth Yeddha' Park Fund.
Registration is available online on Eventrbrite or you can register in Person from 11 to 11:30 AM on the day of the race.
Interior runners, make sure to mark your calendars for September 9th.
