The final regular season track meet for Region VI is dominated by West Valley

FAIRBANKS, Alaska - The final regular season track meet concluded over the weekend with the Region VI programs preparing for the conference championships.
We start in the boys' division as the West Valley Wolfpack dominated most of the events.​
Terrell Johnson led the red and gold with three first place finishes, grabbing the high jump, long jump and the 300 meter hurdles.​
Josh Cummings won the 100 and Jomar Perez took the 200.​
Camron Herron secured the 800 and 1600, while Ellis Alston won the triple jump and the 400 meter run.​
Jack Kendall took the 3200, as the Wolfpack won the 4x100, 4x200, 4x400 and the 4x800 relays.​
The Eielson Ravens took home two victories with Mason Johnson winning the shot put and Toby Tristan capturing the 110 meter hurdles.​
And lastly Jace Henry won the discus for Lathrop.
Then for the girls' division, the North Pole Patriots dominated the jumping events.
Olivia Berg won the triple and long jump while Breeauna O'Rear won the high jump.​
West Valley took all three relays, and the Blasey sisters took the top two spots in the discus.​
Sheridan took the gold while Hadley finished with the silver.​
Olivia Manley won the 100 for the Wolfpack while Natalie Clemente won the 200 for the Hutchison Hawks.​
For the red and gold, Naomi Bailey won the 800, and Kendall Kramer won 1600.​
The Monroe Catholic Rams won the 200 and the 3200 through Maura Grahek and Katie Bast.​
Jolie Lucas won the 100 meter hurdles for the Eielson ravens, and Maya Pelayo won the shot put for the Lathrop Malemutes.​
The Region VI Conference championships are set for this upcoming weekend at West Valley.
