The West Valley Wolfpack sweep the North Pole Patriots on the soccer field

FAIRBANKS, Alaska - The West Valley Wolfpack soccer programs went head-to-head against the North Pole Patriots as the weather finally let up.
The boys' squad took care of business against the Pats, as the red and gold won 6-1 on the turf fields.​
Both Mike Dow and Seth Thomas knocked in two goals apiece to lead the Wolfpack, while Garrett Crane and Adam Raygor knocked in goals as well.​
Daniel Crutcher scored for North Pole.
In the girls' matchup, the Wolfpack held on defensively to win 1-nil over the Patriots.
Regan Gray got the only goal for West Valley in the first half, and they clamped down on defense to keep North Pole off the board.​
North Pole will look to bounce back tonight against the Wasilla Warriors while the Wolfpack and the Warriors face-off tomorrow.
