FAIRBANKS, Alaska - The Pack hockey program were on the road looking to secure a win over the East Anchorage Thunderbirds.
However, the Packs' comeback effort fell short against the T-Birds as they couldn't overcome the deficit in the third period.
Through one period, the Pack were tied up 1-1 thanks to Joe Kimbrough.
The second period wasn't kind to Fairbanks, as they gave up 2 goals to give East the 3-1 lead heading into the final frame.
But this game was not without thrills, as Trenton Spears and Bryan Rocheleau tied up the game at 3-all early in the third.
But the jubilation ended as East shored up their defense and scored midway through the third to win 4-3.
The Pack will need to regroup as they have a game tonight against the Chugiak Mustangs at the MAC.
