The Pack can’t keep up with Wasilla’s offense

FAIRBANKS, Alaska - The Pack Hockey squad fell last night to the Wasilla Warriors in some high school hockey action.
The combined efforts of Lathrop and West Valley lost 4-1 to the Warriors, but the team showed some grit against the D-I powerhouse.
The Pack had many opportunities on power plays, they even had a 5-3 but struggled to get through the Wasilla defense.
They did however get a goal from their senior Trenton Spears who went around the back of the goalie to sneak one in.
Sophomore Michael Swarner held down the fort in between them pipes, but ultimately the Wasilla onslaught proved too much.
The two teams go at it again tonight, and then the Pack face the Palmer Moose tomorrow.
