The Pack Hockey team are routed by Dimond

FAIRBANKS, Alaska - The Pack hockey squad faced their toughest opponent this season when they went toe-to-toe with the Dimond Lynx.
Unfortunately, the Pack couldn't hold off the offensive onslaught.
Dimond routed the combined West Valley/Lathrop team 7-1.
Dimond outshot them 60-9, with Trenton Spears getting the Interior team their only goal on the night.
What should not be overlooked is the performance by freshman goalie Alexys Summar, who stopped 20 of the 21 shots she faced in the third period.
They have a rematch today at the Patty Ice Arena.
"We knew it was going to be really tough, so there are some basic offensive attack ideas, some good ideas. Obviously Dimond is skilled, so we are trying to keep it simple, and we accomplished that a couple times, but obviously Dimond was a challenge," said Warren Moore, Head Coach - The Pack.
