The North Pole Patriots squeak by the West Valley Wolfpack in preparation for the Red/Gold Wrestling Tournament

FAIRBANKS, Alaska - The West Valley Wolfpack took on the North Pole Patriots for a wrestling meet in preparation of the Red and Gold Tournament.
The Patriots barely pulled off the victory, winning 39-34 over the Wolfpack.
Starting in the 140 class, Devon Truelove won for West Valley.
Then in the 145, Kyle Stolz grabbed the win for North Pole.
Wyatt Baise then snatched the 160 for the Wolfpack, and Ian Arnold took the 171.
Henry Massey took the 215, and the 285 was grabbed by Brock Weatherspoon for the Pats.
In the 112 class, Macara Kobernuss won for the Patriots, while Kai Clein won the 119 for the Wolfpack.
The 125 was won by Bradley James for West Valley, and Sabastian Benefield won the 130 for North Pole.
And lastly, Darinn Peterson won for the Pats in the 135.
The Red and Gold Tournament will include the Wolfpack, the Patriots, the Bartlett Golden Bears, the Chugiak Mustangs, the Delta Junction Huskies, the East Anchorage Thunderbirds, the Eielson Ravens, the Hutchison Hawks, the Lathrop Malemutes, the Nenana Lynx, the Wasilla Warriors and the West Anchorage Eagles.
