The North Pole Patriots rock the Monroe Catholic Rams

FAIRBANKS, Alaska - The North Pole Patriots were at home against the Monroe Catholic Rams for some Interior high school hockey action, and they showed that their offense is dangerous with six goals in the final frame.
The Patriots were down 5-3 heading into the third period, and they decided to make a change at goal which helped their squad erupt to win 9-7 over the Rams.
North Pole got a hat trick from Daniel Crutcher, while Jessie Keith kicked in 2 goals.
Then Simon Laszloffy, Seth Theriault, Devon Clark and Cody Benjamin all scored a goal to help the North Pole offense overcome their defensive struggles early on.
Caleb Sanborn got 6, say it again, 6 goals on his own while Antonio Szumigala had a goal and 5 assists.
Jordan Higbee had a night for the Rams, as he finished with 46 saves, while Katy Vinton and Nic Clark combined for 19 saves for the Pats.
North Pole now goes on a break until they face the Delta Junction Huskies at home on January 10, while the Rams face Delta on the 11th.
