The Monroe Catholic Rams fall to the Houston Hawks in a tough D-III match-up

FAIRBANKS, Alaska - The Monroe Catholic Rams played in a tough non-conference match-up against the Houston Hawks.
However, their first home game of the season was a sour one after the team struggled in the tackling department.
The Rams fell 27-20 to the Hawks despite getting the lead early on.
The Rams showed some prolific offense when Quarterback Trae Puryear found Isaac Minnema for a sweet touchdown catch.
The Rams struggled on defense getting Houston to the ground, as the Hawks ran all over them.
Monroe are now 1-1, and prepare for their road game against the Homer Mariners down South.
