FAIRBANKS, Alaska - The Lathrop Malemutes went to our state's capital and came away with a demanding win over the Unified Football team of Juneau.
The Malemutes were able to hang 40 on Juneau, taking the 40-13 victory.
Their first touchdown on Saturday night came from Michael Zadra on a halfback pass for 70 yards to Dana Mowrey, as Juneau had no answer for the offense and defense that Lathrop displayed.
Lathrop improve to 3-1, and they now prepare for a trip to the island of Kodiak to face the Bears.
That game is 10 AM on Saturday.
