The MAC Tournament had a no-hitter in the first round

FAIRBANKS, Alaska - The 2019 Mid-Alaska Conference baseball tournament started off with a great performance from a pitcher to help set the tone.
The Rams got a combined effort from their pitching staff to get a no-hitter against the Hutchison Hawks.​
The blue and gold won 2-1 over Hutch as Izak Lohrke pitch six and two-third innings with 14 strikeouts to dominate from the mound.​
Josh Gray had two hits and an RBI in this close matchup to help Monroe secure a date against the West Valley Wolfpack.​
Also in the first round, the North Pole Patriots won 12-2 over the Lathrop Malemutes.​
North Pole's offense was powered by Alex Kazense getting three RBIs and Gavin Fischer scoring three runs.​
Alex Staker also had a complete game for the Pats to help put away the purple and gold.​
They now face the Delta Junction Huskies in the semifinals.​
Speaking of Delta, they also won in the opening round, taking down the Eielson Ravens.​
The Huskies used a strong second inning to win 11-1 over the Ravens.​
Delta scored 11 runs on five hits, as they face the Patriots at 6 P.M. at Arco Field.​
