The Lathrop Malemutes fall to Kodiak on them island

FAIRBANKS, Alaska - The Lathrop Malemutes faced struggles on the road both against the Kodiak Bears and the flights.
Which resulted in their loss on the island.
The Malemutes couldn't find the endzone until the fourth quarter, when Jaden Littell hit Josiah Opp for the touchdown, but it wasn't enough in their late rally losing 2012 to the Bears.
Lathrop's defense held strong in the second half, not allowing Kodiak to score any more points.
Michael Zadra had 152 yards rushing for Lathrop, while Jace Henry hit Dana Mowry for a 13 yarder.
The Malemutes drop to 3-2, and they look to rebound against the North Pole Patriots here in the Interior on Saturday night.
