The Ice Dogs sweep Janesville

FAIRBANKS, Alaska - The Fairbanks Ice Dogs did it, they swept the Janesville Jets on Friday to advance to the Midwest Divisional finals.
The Ice Dogs won Game 3 thanks to a score of 4-1.​
Matt Koethe got his goal early in the first period, but the Jets answered that to tie it up.​
In the second however the Ice Dogs got two goals to put the game at 3-1.​
Both Luke Ciolli and Jonathan Sorenson hit the back of the net as Fairbanks could now smell the finals.​
And in the third, Parker Brown hit an empty netter to put the game away.​
Mattias Sholl got the win in between the pipes with 19 saves on the night.​
They now prepare for the Minnesota Magicians this week for a spot in the Robertson Cup.​
This series begins Friday at 7:30 P.M. at the Big Dipper Ice Arena. ​
