The Ice Dogs lose GM 1 in the Robertson Cup

FAIRBANKS, Alaska - We start tonight with the Fairbanks Ice Dogs who fell in Game 1 of the NAHL Robertson Cup to the Johnstown Tomahawks.
The Ice Dogs lost 7-2 as they struggled to keep the Tomahawks offense out of their net.​
After Parker Brown put in the first goal on a power play, Johnstown rolled off three straight goals until Noah Wilson scored late in the second.​
Fairbanks couldn't hold back the regular season champs, as they scored four goals in the final frame.​
Mattias Sholl had 18 saves, but also gave up six goals.​
This is the first loss for the Ice Dogs in the playoffs, and they now look to rebound tomorrow at 1:30 P.M. Alaska time for Game 2.
