The Ice Dogs fall to Aberdeen in the NAHL title game

FAIRBANKS, Alaska - The Fairbanks Ice Dogs fell in the NAHL national title game against the Aberdeen Wings in a tough matchup.
The Ice Dogs lost 2-1, as they couldn't find the back of the net in the final two minutes despite being on the power play.​
The Wings scored late in the first, while Parker Brown tied it up in the second.​
However, Aberdeen scored a power play goal with 14 seconds left before the final frame, which proved to be the game winner.​
Mattias Sholl had 20 saves on the night.​
Jonathan Sorenson and Noah Wilson were named to the 2019 NAHL Robertson Cup All-Tournament team.​
Sorenson led the Ice Dogs with 15 points in the postseason, getting nine goals and six assists.​
Fairbanks now prepares for the NAHL Draft on June 4.
