The Hutch soccer programs took the field last night to mixed results

FAIRBANKS, Alaska - The Hutchison Hawks soccer programs both took the field with mixed results against Interior foes.
The girls' team had a tough time against the West Valley Wolfpack, as the red and gold won 7-1 over Hutch.​
West Valley was pushing the offense throughout the evening, forcing the Hawks' defense to scramble at some points.​
Hutch will look to bounce back on the road with a matchup against the Houston Hawks in the Mastu-Valley.​
West Valley on the other hand face their bitter rivals tonight in the Lathrop Malemutes.
The boys' squad then faced the Eielson Ravens for some Division II soccer.
Hutch had to bounce back to force a tie with the Dirty Birds.​
Both sides had some great defense through goal keeping, as both teams ended with two goals apiece.​
The Ravens now prepare to face the North Pole Patriots, while Hutch heads down South.​
