The Big C relays saw top notch high school athletes

FAIRBANKS, Alaska - The Big C track and field competitions took place over the weekend down in Anchorage.
Starting in the boys division, Kevin Johnson got the bronze for the Lathrop Malemutes in the 110 meter hurdle.​
In the boys' 400 meter dash, Camron Herron took the silver for the West Valley Wolfpack.​
Herron then turned that into a gold run in the 800 meter with a time of 1 minute and 55.91 seconds.​
For the discus, Jace Henry grabbed the silver for the Malemutes.​
For the high jump, Riley Knott took gold for Lathrop.
In the girls' division, Hailey Williams took gold in the 100 meter dash with a time of 12.17 seconds for the Delta Junction Huskies.
She also took gold in the 400 meter with a time of 57.73 seconds.​
Up next on the schedule is the abbreviated meet in North Pole starting this Friday.
