FAIRBANKS, Alaska - The women's team on the other hand is just looking to grab a "W" in the GNAC, as their losing streak in the conference extended to 30 in a row after a loss to the Western Oregon Wolves on the road.
Alaska fell 79-50 to their conference foe, and were even down 41-18 at halftime.
Marian Wamsley led the Nooks with 11 points, as the Nanooks only hit 17 percent of their threes on Saturday.
This drops their record to 0-8 and they will look to rebound on Thursday with a home match against the 4-4 Seattle Pacific Falcons.
