FAIRBANKS, Alaska - The Alaska Nanooks volleyball program had their toughest loss of the season, with them getting swept by the Simon Fraser Clan.
The Nooks weren't even close in this matchup, as the Clan won the series in a three-oh sweep, taking the sets 25-13, 25-13 and 25-12.
The Nanooks leader in kills was Markie Miller who had seven, while Cate Whiting only managed 17 assists.
Alaska struggled to curb Simon Fraser's offense, who saw Julia Tays dish out 40 assists.
The Nooks also had trouble getting their own offense going, as they had 19 errors on the night.
The Nanooks are now 1-5 in the G-NAC, and look to grab a victory over the Western Oregon Wolves on Thursday at 7 P-M at the Patty Center.
