The Alaska Nanooks had some of their own get recognized by the WCHA

FAIRBANKS, Alaska - The WCHA have released their all-conference teams from the 2018-2019 season, and the Jandric brothers were recognized for their efforts.
The Alaska Nanooks hockey program saw Steven Jandric make the All-WCHA Third team after having a productive sophomore season.
Jandric finished the year with the most points for the Nanooks.
With nine goals and 15 assists, the sophomore from Prince George, British Columbia heads into the offseason with a chance to improve on his successes.
His younger brother, Chris Jandric, was recognized by the WCHA on the all-rookie team.
The freshman ended with 15 points of three goals and 12 assists, and provided the Blue and Gold a boost on defense.
Also on the list was the all-academic team, and we start with the seniors.
We have Nikolas Koberstein, Ryker Leer, Chad Staley and Jack Weiss.
For the juniors, there is Tyler Cline, Kylar Hope, James LeDouce, Kyle Marino, Anton Martinsson, Tristan Thompson and Troy Van Tetering.
And for the sophomores there is Brennan Blaszczak, Steven Jandric, Max Newton, Tony Rehm and Justin Young.
