The Alaska Nanooks get swept by the Concordia Cavaliers on the road

FAIRBANKS, Alaska - The Alaska Nanooks volleyball program started their road trip with a matchup against the Concordia Cavaliers, and unfortunately they were swept by their GNAC foes.
In back-to-back games, the Nooks have been swept, and they lost the sets 25-19, 25-22 and 25-21 to the Cavs.
Concordia was hitting way above their average, going for .214 and consistently getting good results from their assists by committee approach.
Lahra Weber led the Nanooks with a double-double, getting 16 kills and 13 digs.
Cate Whiting dished out 33 assists, while Kim Wong produced seven blocks.
The Nanooks now prepare for their matchup against the Western Oregon Wolves on the road, as the Wolves are 3-12 in the conference and they play on Saturday at 2 PM.
