The Alaska Nanooks get rocked from downtown by the Western Oregon Wolves

FAIRBANKS, Alaska - Meanwhile for the men's team, the Nanooks were blown out of the water early on by the Western Oregon Wolves from downtown.
The Nooks fell 97-80 against the Wolves, as Spencer Sweet lead Alaska with 20 points.
Their struggles started early on in the first half, as the Nanooks were down 20-5 to start off the contest.
Michael Kluting had a good night with 18 points and 7 rebounds, but it wasn't enough to offset Western Oregon going 13-31 from the three-point line and four of their five starters getting double digits in scoring.
The discrepancy in scoring obviously comes from the differences in downtown, as the Nooks only went 5-15.
This drops Alaska's record to 1-3 in the GNAC, and they will look to rebound with a game on Thursday at 6 p.m. against the Seattle Pacific Falcons down in Washington.
