The Alaska Nanooks falls in the GNAC/PACWEST Crossover in Hawaii

FAIRBANKS, Alaska - The Alaska Nanooks men's basketball program started the Greg Sparling era with two losses in Hawai'i.
The Nooks started off the GNAC PacWest Crossover with a loss to the Chaminade Silver Swords.
Tymoryae Glover led Alaska with 19 points and six rebounds, as the rest of the starters struggled to put together 22 points.
Off the bench, both Alex Baham and Spencer Sweet dropped 12 apiece, as their second half rally fell short as they battled back from 10 points down in the final 2:49.
The Nanooks then faced the Hawai'i Pacific Sharks, and they had a rough first half.
The Sharks outscored them 44-26, but the Nooks battled back to score 51 in the second, as Alaska fell 92-77 on the road, and Aushanti Potts-Woods led them with 19 points on the night.
Alex Baham had 15, while Spencer Sweet and Jalon McCullough combined for 28 points off the bench.
The Nooks then look to rebound against the Hawai'i Hilo Vulcans tonight in the 50th state.
