The Alaska Nanooks celebrated Senior Night over the weekend against the NNU Nighthawks

FAIRBANKS, Alaska - The Alaska Nanooks women's basketball team celebrated Senior Night on Saturday as they said goodbye to Ashlie Blackburn, Angela Murnion, Emily Evans and Marian Wamsley.
The Nanooks were facing the Northwest Nazarene Nighthawks, as they fell 98-58.
Wamsley led Alaska in her final game as she scored 20 points on 10-13 shooting.
Evans chipped in 13, while Blackburn came off the bench to score 13 as well.
Murnion who has been dealing with an injury came onto the court to hit a three and was surrounded by her teammates in her final college shot.
The Nighthawks dominated the matchup from the charity stripe as they went 19-20 for 95 percent.
The Nanooks end their season 1-19 as Head Coach Kerri Nakamoto gets her first crack at a full offseason to start rebuilding the program.
