The 2019 Aurora Conference Tournament started today with Interior teams getting some big wins

FAIRBANKS, Alaska - The 2019 Aurora Conference Tournament started today with six teams looking to take the two spots in the Alaska State Championships.
We start in the Girls' Bracket with the fifth seeded Delta Junction Huskies facing off against the Hutchison Hawks.
Desirae Titus led Hutch with 14 points as they won their first round matchup 42-37.
Andrea Solla led the Huskies with 17 points.
The Huskies now await in the consolation bracket for the loser of the Monroe Catholic Rams and the Valdez Buccaneers tomorrow at 1 p.m.

The Hutchison Hawks upset the number one seeded Galena Hawks 48-45.
They now await for the winner of the Monroe Catholic Rams and the Valdez Buccaneers.

The Hutchison Hawks Boys' team faced the Delta Junction Huskies in the first round for a rematch from their overtime game earlier this season.
Delta took on the challenge to win 74-57 over Hutch.
The Huskies now get ready for their semifinal matchup against the number one seeded Valdez Buccaneers.
Hutch on the other hand prepare for the loser of the match between the Monroe catholic rams and the Eielson Ravens.

The Monroe Catholic Rams Girls' basketball team went head to head against the Eielson Ravens in the first round of the Aurora Conference Tournament.
The Rams won 48-23 over the Dirty Birds to advance to a date against the Valdez Buccaneers at 5 p.m.
Eielson on the other hand prepares for the loser between the two Hawks in Galena and Hutchison at 11:30 a.m. tomorrow.

The Eielson Ravens took on the Galena Hawks in the Aurora Conference Regionals.
The Dirty Birds erupted on offense to win 91-55 over Galena.
Eielson now take on the Monroe Catholic Rams, while Galena wait for the loser of the Valdez Buccaneers and the Delta Junction Huskies game at 2:30 p.m.
