FAIRBANKS, Alaska - The Alaska Nanooks hockey program may be making a move onto campus after UAF's Chancellor Dan White made a statement through the university website.
Chancellor White laid out the proposed approach from UA President Jim Johnsen towards Alaska's Governor Mike Dunleavy's budget proposals.
On that list is the hockey program leaving the Carlson Center and renovating the Patty Ice Arena.
The Nanooks have been playing at the Carlson Center since it was built in 1990 when Alaska joined the CCHA.
According to the statement, the Board of Regents will likely meet up on April 8 to discuss the proposals.
