Rams skate away with Tie in Close Match

FAIRBANKS, Alaska - If you are going to tie a game, then doing it the way the Monroe Catholic Rams hockey team did, then it's acceptable.
The Rams tied five to five against the Palmer Moose in the Big Dipper Ice Arena, after they needed a Riley Ott game tying goal.
The Rams needed power play goals, as the Moose were all over them pushing the puck in front of their goal on many occasions.
The Rams were led by Ott, Caleb Sanborn, and Evan Fritze, which pushed their record to four-four-and one.
Ott had four points, Sanborn had three assists, and Fritze scored two goals.
Jaden Pasillas had 23 saves on the night.
Monroe will be travelling on the road to face the Glennallen Panthers to open the Greatland Conference play at 8 PM today.
