Nine members of the Alaska Nanooks Cross Country program have made the GNAC All-Academic team

FAIRBANKS, Alaska - Nine members of the cross country team for the Alaska Nanooks finished their season on the GNAC's all-academic team this past weekend.
Starting on the men's team, they had four make the list, and up first is Josiah Alverts who finished with a GPA of 3.86, as the sophomore from Palmer majors in Physics.
Next is Arnaud Guyon who majors in communications, and the senior from Chamonix, France finished with a 3.89 GPA.
Then we have Tristan Sayre from Fairbanks, and the senior civil engineering student athlete came out with a 3.57 GPA.
And to round out the men runners, there is Daniel Serventi.
The senior mechanical engineering athlete from Anchorage brought in a 3.5 GPA.
For the women's team, we have Alex Bergholtz.
The junior chemistry runner from Kenai, finished with a 3.86 GPA.
Next is Hannah Dueling, as the sophomore general science athlete from Whitehorse, Yukon Territory took home a 3.92 GPA.
Then we have Jocelyn Kopsack from Palmer.
The junior math major ended up with a 3.41 GPA.
Then there is Anja Maijala from Wrenshall, Minnesota.
The sophomore wildlife biology and conservation athlete brought in a 3.70 GPA.
And lastly we have Kati Roivas from Liperi, Finland.
Liperi is a junior psychology major, and finished with a 3.95 GPA.
