Monroe turns on the jets late in victory over Hutch

FAIRBANKS, Alaska - The Monroe Catholic Rams baseball program took on the Hutchison Hawks and rode their offense late in the game to grab the victory.
The Rams won 10-1 over Hutch, thanks to Gabe Silas and Jake Footit.​
Footit led from the mound with six strikeouts in his five and two-thirds innings of work.​
At the plate Gabe Silas scored a run, got two hits and three RBIs to put the blue and gold in the driver's seat.​
After Hutch scored in the bottom of the of the first, the scoring was silent until the top of the fourth where the Rams went on their run.​
Monroe scored 10 unanswered runs to put away the Hawks.​
Isaac Roehl knocked in the RBI for Hutch, while Josh Bronson fanned seven batters.​
Hutch will look to bounce back tonight with a double-header against the North Pole Patriots, while Monroe faces Eielson tomorrow.
