FAIRBANKS, Alaska (KTVF) Over the weekend, the Alaska state championships for cross country took place with Interior athletes looking to make some noise.
Kendall Kramer of the West Valley Wolfpack certainly made huge waves with a three-peat in the Division I girls' race. Kramer finished with a time of 17 minutes and 38.3 seconds winning by nearly 40 seconds. West Valley had three runners in the top 5.
In the boys' class, Daniel Abramowicz scored a 10th place finish for the Wolfpack.
In the D-II girls' race, Katie Bast earned fifth for the Monroe Catholic Rams.
