FAIRBANKS, Alaska - Kaylee Stier of the Lathrop Malemutes signed her national letter of intent this week to play on the next level for softball.
Stier has signed to play for Bluffton University who are on the Division III level, and play in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference.
Stier will be joining Bluffton to play in Ohio, and in the sport that helped mold her.
Stier spoke about the next chapter in her life.
"Bluffton is right in the middle of all the family I don't get to see because I'm military, so I'm always so far away. And I'm actually going to school with my cousin as well. So she is going to be my roommate, I get to play softball and I get to be around family. It's amazing because everyone here is someone I've dealt with the last three years and we've actually become family. I love everyone here, they're amazing," said Stier.
