FAIRBANKS, Alaska - The Monroe Catholic Rams football program grabbed an important conference victory over the Valdez Buccaneers, to keep up with Barrow and Eielson.
And they can thank Josh Gray for his production.
Gray ran for 205 yards and a touchdown to help the Rams win 60 to 28.
Gray pushed the offense deep into the red zone to help Alex Van Whye and Trae Puryear get into the end zone.
Speaking of Puryear, he threw for 5 touchdowns, lighting the Bucs up with passes to Jordan Higbee, Josh Mandich and Darren Nicholson.
The Rams are now 3-2, sitting above .500 once again, and they have a home match against the Nikiski Bulldogs on Friday.
