Jack Johnston was named the Midwest Division Star of the Week

FAIRBANKS, Alaska - The Fairbanks Ice Dogs saw one of their own get recognized by the NAHL as the Midwest Division Star of the Week for this past week of action.
And that guy is Jack Johnston.
Johnston was instrumental in helping the Ice Dogs get up to second in the Midwest Division with his array of plays in the three-game series against the Kenai River Brown Bears.
In all, he scored 4 goals, while scoring in each of the three home games, including a game winner against the Brown Bears on Thursday.
Johnston so far this season has 16 points this year, and the Ice Dogs will look to continue their current rise with a matchup against the Janesville Jets, who are the third best team in Midwest for a divisional battle starting on December 7 on the road.
