FAIRBANKS, Alaska - The Iditarod Trail Committee has formally elected new members to the board, bringing in 4 new people.
We start with Nina Kemppel, a four time Winter Olympian.
Kemppel has retired from competitive racing, and is currently the president and chief executive officer of the Alaska Community Foundation.
Next is Karen King.
King is the president and CEO of Spawn Ideas, one of Alaska's biggest advertising agencies.
Then we have Mike Mills.
Mills serves as legal counsel for Dorsey and Whitney, LLP.
And lastly it is Ryan York.
York is the senior vice president and chief financial officer at Bristol Bay Native Corporation.
The ITC is planning to at least name one more member in the coming future.
