Hockey Club Fairbanks and FAHA will merge on April 1

FAIRBANKS, Alaska - Youth Hockey here in the Golden Heart City is about to change with the announcement of both the Fairbanks Amateur Hockey Association and Hockey Club Fairbanks merging on April 1.
This is the second time in recent years that Hockey Club Fairbanks has merged with another youth hockey program, most notably the Arctic Lions before their split last year.
According to their numbers, there is 570 players from both programs and will be going under the name, Hockey Club Fairbanks.
HCF states they will be recognized by USA Hockey in the USA Hockey Model Association.
