FAIRBANKS, Alaska - Hailey Williams from Delta Junction continues to burn up the track, as the upcoming senior had a great showing in the New Balance Nationals.
Williams competed in the 200-meter dash with other athletes from around the U.S. clocking in a personal best in the event.
She had a run time of 24.05, knocking off a full second from her time at the Alaska state championships.
To put that in persepctive, that would have broken the state record of 24.73 seconds set by Tanner Ealum in 2015.
Williams now prepares for her final season with the Delta Junction Huskies, where she is the two time defending state champ in the 100, 200 and 400 DII state titles.
