Goldpanners Dominate Orange County Surf

FAIRBANKS, Alaska - Last night the Alaska Goldpanners played in a high scoring affair that had a box score read out like a football game.
As both teams combined for 39 runs.
The Panners rocked the Orange County Surf in a 26-13 rout.
Brody Wittman led Alaska with 3 hits, 4 runs, and 4 RBIs.
Kyle Knell was on fire once again going 4 for 4 with 4 runs and 3 RBIs.
As Knell extended his on base performance to 13 straight at-bats.
Nyles Nygaard hit his first home run of the season, as the Panners had 22 hits for a batting average of 4-78.
The bottom of the 7th was kind to the Goldpanners, as they dropped 8 runs on the Surf, lighting up the score board with numerous hits.
Cameron Leonard led Alaska from the mound with 7 strikeouts, only giving up 2 hits and 1 run in his 6 innings of work.
Joshua Ribera was given the "L" in his 3-point-2 innings giving up 5 runs and 4 hits.
However, Matt Woinarowicz had a rough night, as in just 2 innings of work he gave up 11 hits and 14 runs.
