Green has led the Hawks to many wins in the Aurora Conference, crossed the 1,000 point mark in her career and now can say she is a Division II athlete. Green comes from the small community of Galena which is roughly 270 miles from the Golden Heart City.

"I really love it especially walking down the hall and a little kid gives me a paper and it says, 'Go Pearle' or something," said Green. "Obviously these kids know that you can do it even though we're in a little village."

Green joins a Nanooks squad that boasts numerous Alaskan athletes with the likes of Olivia Kraska, Alanna Conwell and Caitlin Pusich who were in last year's recruiting class.
