Despite the smoke, 30 runners took on the Ester Dome Ass Kicker

FAIRBANKS, Alaska - With smoke filling the air, the 20th annual Ester Dome Ass Kicker carried on with 30 competitors taking on the nearly seven mile course.
In the men's division, Nick Janssen took home the gold after a run time of 1 hour, 2 minutes and 3 seconds.​
The 36 year-old beat the field by seven minutes.​
Second went to Jacob Parker and Alexander Greene took home third.​
In the women's division, Stacy Fisk finished with the run time of 1 hour, 17 minutes and 45 seconds.​
She took home first by 23 seconds over Chris Carr.​
The bronze went to Stacy Miles.​
Next on the race schedule is the Angel Creek 50K out at Chena Lakes.
This is set for this Saturday while on Sunday, we have the Run for the Refuge out at UAF.​
