Delta baseball rallies against Monroe

FAIRBANKS, Alaska - Last night the Monroe Catholic Rams went on the road to face the Delta Junction Huskies.
The Rams got on the board quickly, going up 2-0 in the first inning.​
Izak Lorhke got the first run in thanks to single that brought in Pearson Clark.​
The second run was from Aiden Krause who hit a pop fly bringing in Lohrke to give the Rams the lead.​
In the bottom of the fourth Dustin Peterson scored on an error from Monroe to cut into the deficit.​
Then in the fifth, Delta tacked on three runs through singles by Justin Gerhart and Luke Schmidt giving the Huskies the 4-2 lead.​
Delta then held on defensively to win 4-2 over Monroe, with both Kevin Vertz and Dustin Peterson combining for seven strikeouts.​
The Rams/Wolfpack game at Growden Park was postponed due to snow.
