Daniel Crutcher forces a tie against Monroe in the MAC

FAIRBANKS, Alaska - The North Pole Patriots and the Monroe Catholic Rams played one of the most intense soccer matches last.​
With both teams playing to a tie.​
The Rams and the Patriots played to a 3-3 tie after Daniel Crutcher tied it up with a free kick in stoppage time.​
Both these teams are at the top of the Mid-Alaska Conference, and the blue and gold hold a three-goal advantage heading into the final stretch of the regular season.​
Nate Walsh led them with two goals as the Rams are in the driver's seat for the Alaska State Tournament coming up at the end of the month.​
The Patriots now prepare for the Palmer Moose, while the Rams take on the West Valley Wolfpack on Monday.
