Competitors Battle in North Pole Triathlon

FAIRBANKS, Alaska - Over the weekend was the North Pole Triathlon where the competitors took on 1500 meters of swimming, 40 kilometers biking, and 10 kilometers running.
As 37 athletes took on the demanding race on a muggy day.
The Men's division was won by Bruce Miller, as he beat the entire men's field by 4 minutes.
The 51 year old finished with a time 2 hours, 16 minutes, and 46 seconds.
His splits were impressive, finishing the swim in under 20 minutes, take the bike time in little over an hour, and finish the run in 47 minutes.
In second was David Withoff with a time of 2 hours, 20 minutes, and 56 seconds.
And for the bronze, that went to Lisandro Perez with his time of 2 hours, 28 minutes, and 7 seconds.
For the women's division, 30 year old Kelly Scott beat everyone, including the men's division, with a time of 2 hours, 15 minutes, and 12 seconds.
For silver, it went to Pam Winders, and third went to Tracie Hough.
