UAF VB swept by Western Washington

FAIRBANKS, Alaska (KTVF) The Alaska Nanooks volleyball program finished their 2019 road schedule with a match-up against the Western Washington Vikings.

The Nanooks fell to the number four team in the country in straight sets, snapping a four match winning streak.

Lahra Weber led UAF with 10 kills and seven digs, while Cate Whiting posted a double-double with 27 assists and 11 digs. The Vikings dominated just about every statistical category, and extended their winning streak to 23 straight matches over the Nanooks.

The Nooks return home for a Thursday night match-up against the Seattle Pacific Falcons out at the Patty Center at 7 P.M.
