FAIRBANKS, Alaska - This past Saturday morning at 5 A-M a disturbance at the County Store off E. Stoney Hollow Dr in Wasilla prompted a response from Alaska State Troopers.

Once the first responders were on the road to report, it was discovered the assailant had rammed a security company vehicle, and attempted to take out the security officer outside on their exit.

The vehicle was identified as a green Mitsubishi SUV.

The suspect fled the scene, and was later found on Seward Meridian Pkwy.

Authorities made several attempts to stop the assailant in their tracks.

During that time, the suspect attempted to take out Wasilla Police Officers during a traffic stop, and tried to strike AST vehicles at speeds of 100-MPH.

The assailant was finally stopped in a private drive after WPD and AST both performed vehicle pinning, which successfully stopped the vehicle.

The driver was identified as 30 year old Jamie L. Kohlmeier of Wasilla, and was promptly remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial under charges of failing to stop at the direction of an officer in the 1st degree, four counts of assault in the 3rd degree, two counts of criminal mischief in the 4th, reckless driving, two counts of action of an operator after a collision, two counts of violating the conditions of release, reckless endangerment, and disorderly conduct.
