FAIRBANKS, Alaska - Warming conditions and fresh snow have made for treacherous roads around Fairbanks.
Emergency personnel responded to multiple vehicle accidents in the Fairbanks area today.
An estimated six vehicles were in the ditch between the weigh station and the Mitchel Expressway exit on the Richardson Highway.
Fresh snow has caused poor visibility, and warmer temperatures have made roads slippery.
Drivers are urged to keep their headlights on, and travel slowly to ensure their safety, as well as the safety of those around them.
