USPS suggests sending packages before Dec. 20 to arrive by Christmas

FAIRBANKS, Alaska - Christmas Day is fast approaching, and the United States Postal Service is getting busier and busier.

According to 'USPS.com', the recommended send-by date for Alaskans is December 20 for both First-Class and Priority Mail, if they want delivery before December 25. For Priority Mail Express Service, the recommended cut-off is December 22.
